Kuratas robot gets revealed to public at Wonder Fest 2012

The above video brings you almost everything about the Kuratas robot. Kuratas is a prototype of a monster mecha robot developed by Japanese artist and iron worker Kogoro Kurata. Suidobashi Heavy Industry has officially revealed this stunning robot to the public recently at the Wonder Fest 2012.

Kuratas weighs 4500 kilograms, and measures a height of 4 meters. It boasts the next-generation robot operating system called as V-Sido, which helps them to drive via a smartphone with 3G network and Master-Slave system. Apart from these two ways, an onboard human pilot can also drive it with ease.

Kuratas legs have wheels at its end, and can be driven by diesel fuel at lower or higher configurations. It can travel at a maximum speed of 10 kilometers per hour. The most interesting factor about this robot is that it incorporates the LOHAS launcher and two Gatling guns.

The water-powered LOHAS launcher is capable of shooting water bottles to several meters. The two Gatling guns can track humans and shoot 6000 BBs per minute. It can also be activated by just a cute smile of the onboard pilot.

Kuratas robot is expected to sell for a price of US $1,523,500 in the future. Overall, I think that everyone will be looking for that commercial release to enjoy the pleasant driving of monster mecha.
