Arduino robot crawler

The above video shows you the motion and obstacle avoidance of an Arduino robot crawler. At first, this robot is made to crawl on a floor, and it turns autonomously when it detects the wall or some other objects on its pathway. It also easily managed to move backwards while a set of papers kept in front of it (you can see this performance in the mid part of the video).

For your information, the Arduino robot crawler is equipped with an Arduino Mega 2560 micro-controller board, eight Hitec 485HB servos, and a 32 servo controller. It boasts an ultrasonic sensor (URM04 V2.0) for identifying the obstacles in their traveling path. It is attached with six legs, and capable of moving in forward, reverse, left, and right directions.
